Why dictation is more than fast typing
Voice input is above all about keeping your hands free. A desk no longer has to stand between the thought and the note. Anyone who has ever controlled a TV by voice knows the principle.

How does voice input work in the Hands-Free Hub?
You tap the microphone and speak: a command, a dictation or both in one sentence. Yura recognizes which action is meant and sets it up as a suggestion, for example as a task, an appointment or a draft.
Does voice control work on the move?
Yes. The Hands-Free Hub runs in the browser, on phones and tablets too; no separate app is needed.
Do I need a special microphone?
No. Recognition runs in the browser with the microphone your device already has. A headset improves quality but is not required.
Is a dictated mail sent right away?
No. A dictation becomes a draft. It is sent once you approve it. The same applies to replies to incoming messages.
Does it work with an accent?
Standard speech with a regional colouring is recognised reliably. With a strong accent it helps to pronounce names and numbers clearly.
Can the inbox be read out to me?
Yes. Yura summarizes the incoming messages and reads the summary aloud, which helps when your hands are busy.
Are my recordings stored?
The recording is processed to carry out the request and not kept afterwards. It never feeds model training either.
Is the Hands-Free Hub a kind of remote control?
In a figurative sense, yes: you speak a command and Yura prepares the action, whether an email, a task or an appointment. It has nothing to do with the remote control for a TV or other devices, because the Hands-Free Hub does not control any hardware. Nothing is executed until you have approved the draft or suggestion.
